IT'S RALLY CREEPY but I love it. I most like the movement effect you did- the skulls are perfectly still, cold dead, while the girl, her supposed to be still, is shivering from the cold because she's alive. You could have used more snow around - some even topples on the skulls to hide them even more maybe, so that some could really not see them at first glance- but your use of patterns is spot-on and really solidify the picture. The skulls are really well-done, too. Creepy lovely. Great job!

Thanks! :) I should've put more snow. It'd probably make my life a whole lot easier.

wut art skillz lol???

That's what my friend said, that it reminded her of the Holocaust. But I think I saw the same concept of piling skulls/placing skulls in a row for a tribute to the Rwandan genocide.

It's totally emo, in the most awesome way ever. I LOVE how everything is layered, and how the light bounces off the skulls, and how you can see the pattern/fabric of her robe. Mind giving us a little background info on the piece?

Background info? Well, I was looking up a lot of James Jean (http://jamesjean.com) stuff. :)

Wow! I adore this picture. The photorealism of the skulls at the bottom of the picture are such a creepy contrast to the more stylized girl. And people without faces always scare me. Great job!
